What are keywords?
Keywords are words that are important for your business and appear in Search Engines. A visitor searches for a keyword and stumbles upon your website. For Example, A customer who resides in Alabama Street, Miami, wants a plumber in her locality, she will search “plumber in Miami”, “Plumber in Alabama Street, Miami”. If your website is using these keywords, the customer will reach your website.
Examples of plumber-related keywords: “emergency plumber in [city],” “water leak repair,” “drain cleaning services.”

Long-tail keywords and service-specific phrases
Considering the competition, it is difficult to rank on the 1st page of Google Search, hence two approaches work – (1) Long-tail keywords and (2) Service-specific phrases.
Long-tail keywords –
It is an extension and it is more specific in nature. For example, a keyword is “Football Coaching”, and a long-tail keyword would be “Football Coaching academy for kids under 10 years”.
Service-specific phrases –
Vegetarian Chinese restaurant on Alabama Street, Miami. This is an example of a Service-specific phrase. A Chinese restaurant based out of Alabama Street, Miami, serving vegetarian food.
